Fair Questions
Evolving Book of Mormon Theology
continue >>>
Thousands of post "translation" revisions in the text of the Book of Mormon over time challenge the claim of Joseph Smith that it was (is) the "most correct book" ever published. Significant revisions reflect profound differences in the representation of the nature and identity of the Godhead.
These revisions reflect an evolving theology about the Godhead. They are entirely consistent with the idea that Joseph Smith's theology was changing and the Book of Mormon (a fiction) was revised repeatedly in accordance with those changes.
The revisions are not at all consistent with the idea that the Book of Mormon was "translated" from an original document inscribed by prophets of God whose theology about the nature and identity of God would have been reliably recorded by prophets and correctly "translated" by the "Prophet" Joseph Smith.

B) No. I have faith that all mysteries will be revealed in God's due time.
C) No answer. I have been instructed to shun (avoid) such topics.
