Honest and honorable work (however humble) to support needs for sustaining life (as opposed to conspicuous consumption) and which involves the appropriate application and development of one's talents and potential.
Prosperity and the honors of men are neither (necessarily) pursued nor avoided. They are incidental to an appropriate attitude of discipline amidst non-attachment.
