Over 20 highly improbable site and name "coincidences" (similarities) are found between the geographical locations described in the Book of Mormon and sites convenient to Joseph Smith's actual environs. The statistical probability of finding such similarities by mere coincidence (as opposed to the Book of Mormon being a fiction borrowed from Joseph Smith's knowledge of his contemporary environs), is not remotely credible.
